Personal data

Registration
The use of the website and our apps is generally possible both without and with registration. However, it may be that some functions can only be used for registered users or for non-registered users to a limited extent. For registration, we use the access data such as the email address, the password and the first and last name that you entered in the input fields to create the user account in order to grant you access to your user account and options for managing it. Data created or linked by registered users, such as their own feeds, bookmarks and other data, is stored on our server. This has the advantage that the user can use their data regardless of the device, for example if they want to use the data already stored not only on the website but also in the apps or generally on another device. The data of non-registered users is only stored on the user's corresponding device and cannot therefore be used from other devices and can be lost, for example, after deleting the browser data or uninstalling the app. The storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the provision of our services, as well as Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR based on the express consent given during registration.
Third Party Software
Firebase AuthenticationFirebase Authentication is a registration and authentication service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use Firebase Authentication on the website and apps to provide our users with a way to authenticate and manage a user account. To simplify the login and authentication process, Firebase Authentication may use third-party identity services and store the information on their platform. Firebase Authentication processes and stores personal data such as your email address, first name, last name, password and your IP address. Firebase Cloud Firestore
Firebase Cloud Firestore is a hosting and backend service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use Firebase Cloud Firestore on the website and in the apps to store data that is generated when using our services. As part of a created user account, this can include the linked first/last name and notifications, but also general usage data and data that you have transmitted, for example via the reporting form or similar. Firebase Cloud Messaging
Firebase Cloud Messaging is a cross-platform cloud service for messaging and notifications from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications to immediately alert you to news and to show you notifications in the notification bar of your device. Firebase Cloud Messaging can transmit personal data such as your IP address, Firebase installation IDs, and special tokens (based on the device ID). When sending push notifications to Apple devices, the data may be transmitted to Apple servers in addition to providing the services. Google Analytics is an analysis service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. YouTube
YouTube is a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use the YouTube embedding function on the website and in the apps to display and play videos on YouTube. We use the extended data protection mode provided by YouTube for embedding. However, it may still be the case that YouTube collects personal data such as the IP address and other cookies in order to provide and play the video. Contabo is a hosting provider from Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, Germany. We use hosted servers from Contabo to provide our services on the website and in the apps. Zenoclaw will not sell any of your information to third parties or share it with third parties solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Data security
Zenoclaw takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the security of the stored data. However, please be aware that there is no completely secure method for transmitting and storing your information over the Internet. In this regard, we cannot guarantee the complete security of your data, but we endeavor to process your data as securely as possible.
Storage time
Zenoclaw only stores the data collected for as long as it complies with the statutory retention periods. An exception will only be made if the data is necessary to pursue legal claims. Protection of minors

Zenoclaw will not knowingly store personal data of minors who have not yet reached the age of 13, or the minimum age stipulated in the respective country, and do not have the consent of their legal representative.
Deleting your account
You can delete your created user account yourself at any time in the profile settings of the website or apps. Deleting your user account will remove all associated data that you have provided to us as part of it, such as your email address, first name, last name, but also other data such as feeds you have saved, bookmarks and more. This process is permanent and cannot be reversed. However, you can re-register at any time.

Zenoclaw is responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data. Contact option
If you contact us via the contact form or via one of our email addresses, we will store the data you provided until the end of the communication and then delete it.
